Fundraising for the National Spasmodic Dysphonia Association

Farrah is a high-school student and has shown great levels of motivation and enthusiasm for the spasmodic dysphonia research in AVAH Lab. Farrah has fundraised money for spasmodic dysphonia research through poetry reading. She has pulled research articles to feature on the National Spasmodic Dysphonia Association (NSDA) website. Moreover, she has participated and fundraised for the 2021 Walk for Talk. Accordingly, she has received recognition from the NSDA president for her achievements in the field and community involvement!

NSDA is a not-for profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by spasmodic dysphonia and related voice conditions through research, education, awareness and support. Learn more about NSDA here.
